Photo canvas
In the case of a photo canvas, the photo is printed on a canvas and pulled tight on wooden base frame. This canvas differs from painting one usually being smoother. The print on photo canvas is very detailed.
There are 2 types of photo canvases: satin and matte. Satin canvas glosses a little bit but is more resistant to physical injuries, touches, etc. You can also choose the thickness of base frame. The more common one is 2 cm, but you can also get 4 cm thick frame.
It is also possible to get premium photo canvas as satin and matte. Photo on it is even more vivid and detailed and the surface is very resistant.
Photo board
For photo board, the photo is printed on photo paper and then glued on a 1 cm thick light rigid base board. Without the frame, contents of dark grey board can be seen on the side.
Board itself is very light and a small nail or double-sided tape is enough to hang it. Photo board has one big disadvantage and that is its durability. The edges are delicate, if you accidentally hit the image with harder object or if it falls, defects can easily occur. A frame will help against this problem.
Hanging photos
Usually the photos are attached to a wire, which for example can be hung on a nail. If the photo has different type of hanging, it will be marked separately.
Ordering
My photos can be ordered as a photo canvas, premium photo canvas, photo board or framed photo board. To order them you need to contact me and mark the type of print, the size and name of the photo with name of gallery. Below you can also find immediately available prints. Their delivery takes less time. Postage/courier costs are added to the price of a print.
